DC-A40 is very suitable for making silicone rubber stone molds. It is featured with extremely low shrinkage, good fluidity and resistance to many kinds of chemicals; This material do not release any by-product with low molecular weight during its curing process, and it's cured from top to bottom and from the inside and outside simultaneously, namely, deep curing. The DC-A sereise platinum cured silicone will not have the problem of degradation, sticky mold surface caused by the existence of by-product of small molecules under certain conditions, (such as closed environment, high temperature). Known from our customer's feedback, it is very convenient to make cement molds, and it is a high-quality silicone for construction industries. Further more, it can be applied to make multiple piece molds for products with complex design.

DC-A40 can be used in the field of construction applications. Because the vulcanizing reactions of addition cure silicone is fundamentally different from tin cure silicone’s, it has some characteristics that the condensation cure type do not have, such as adjustable curing rate, being completely environmentally friendly, and so on. Warm tips
As addition cure silicone is a kind of platinum cure system, which will be easy to cause uncured problem ,so pls kindly follow the tips as below : -Do not mix with liquid condensation silicone rubber or even the tool which used for condensation silicone rubber. -Do not mix with organic matter which contains N, S, P organics and ionic compound like Sn, As,Hg, Ph. (Do not smoke when you use this addition silicone rubber) -Do not add any pigment or powder into the addition cure silicone rubber without any testing to prevent uncured problem.

Why isn’t the silicon mold acid & alkali and aging resistant?
It is due to the addition of the silicon oil. Normally we do not advise our customers to add any silicon oil into the silicon rubber. If it is necessary, the ratio must be 5%-10%.
Why is the appearance of the finished mold striate and unsmooth?
It is because the appearance of the product or the model itself is not perfect, and it has not been polished before the further operation. So when you make silicon molds, firstly you should polish the product, spray the mold evenly on the product. In this case, the problem can be avoided.
How to deal with the bubbles during the mixing process?
It depends on your practical situation. Firstly you can deal the mixture with a vacuum machine if you have one; If no such machine, you can reduce the mixing ratio of the hardener from 4% to 1%-2%.Then in the prior period of the reaction of the mixture will be slower, then the air in the mixture will exhaust by itself for a longer curing time to release the bubble.
what should you do for imcomplete curing after the mold is finished?
Two causes lead to this problem: 1 Inexact mixing ratio, not to weigh following the standard ; 2 The mixture of the silicone and catalyst is not mixed evenly. You should avoid this kind of problem ,otherwise there will be a waste of silicone mold.
The solutions of the sticky of the silicone mold?
The main reason for this problem is that you do not handle the products or original molds well, then you should deal with the original mold or products carefully before molding. Such as for the products with a complicated pattern or a unsmoothed surface, you should polish and clean the products after which it will be molded ,then spray the release agent. Normally, the release agent can be Vaseline , detergent. liquid wax Etc. In practical process, you can brush different release agent according to different material. The second reason is that the operator pour the silicone into the mold when the mixture is mixed evenly, then the finish silicone mold will partialy cured.
What should you do for deformation of the silicone mold ?
1 You should choose right silicone rubber with suitable hardness according to the size of the products, In principle, the hardness of the silicone should be consistent to the size of the products.For the small size products with detailed patterns, the soft silicone can be applicable which the shore A should be 15-20 for easy demoulding and not damage of the patterns. Other wise harder silicone should be needed for large size products, such as products with size 50cm will need harder silicone with 40-50 shore A. then no-deformation. If Large products but features detailed patterns then 30 shore A silicone will be workable.(The process should be a layer silicone add a layer fiber glass or cloth..). 2 You should make a outer mold for your silicone mold.The outer of mold can be plaster, glass fiber reinforced plastic(unsaturated resin and fiber glass) to protect the products from deformation.
